What’s the job?

At Centra, we manufacture and install high-performance vinyl windows and we stand behind them. That means when something needs attention, we send in the best. As a Window Service Technician, you’ll be in customers’ homes completing service work and critical remeasure appointments. Your job is to identify issues, complete repairs, and ensure every product we build and install is right the first time. This role sits at the intersection of customer service, technical skill, and manufacturing accuracy. What you do directly impacts production, installation success, and the customer experience.

Accuracy is non-negotiable.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Diagnose and repair window and door issues, including hardware, glazing, screens, and seals
• Complete detailed remeasure appointments to ensure exact specifications before production
• Identify discrepancies between quoted scope and actual site conditions
• Take precise measurements that directly impact manufacturing accuracy
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on-site
• Document all service work, measurements, and findings with accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, with a strong sense of ownership
• Obtain customer sign-off and ensure proper follow-up where needed
• Act as a key link between customers, installation teams, and manufacturing

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with windows and doors in a service, repair, assembly, or installation capacity
• Working knowledge of window components, including hardware, glazing, seals, and screens
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues and complete hands-on repairs with a high level of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to take precise measurements that impact manufacturing and installation outcomes
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
• Basic carpentry skills considered an asset
• Fall protection certification or ability to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
