Our Background
Centra Corporation started in 1984 as Micro Centra, an importer, assembler and distributor of personal computers, peripherals, supplies and accessories. Located in Brossard, Quebec the company built a loyal customer base of resellers across Canada, in addition to local corporate accounts and end-users. Early success was based on providing high quality computer products and services at very competitive prices.
In 1992, we expanded on our approach and opened a computer superstore, Club Centra, to develop the local retail customer base. In 1994 we established Centra Internet as our Internet service provider for Internet access and Web development services to the same mix of customers
The company relocated in early 1998 to new expanded premises in St. Laurent, Quebec. These facilities include the corporate head office, sales offices, distribution centre, service depot and technical centre. Our retail outlet and a service depot remain in Brossard. Both locations are only twenty minutes from downtown Montreal.
